Undoubtedly, the science of mathematics in grades 10 through 12 is of great importance. Initially, mathematics strengthens essential skills such as analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning as one of the main academic subjects. These skills, in addition to mathematical lessons, are necessary in daily life and even in various fields such as sciences and arts. Furthermore, mathematics serves as a tool for problem-solving in various sciences including physics, chemistry, economics, and engineering. For example, in the field of physics, mathematical concepts like differential equations and integration are fundamental for describing and predicting natural phenomena.
Secondly, mathematics education in grades 10 through 12 enhances life skills and helps students logically approach various problems encountered in daily life and work environments. For instance, concepts such as time management, data analysis, and probability in decision-making processes and facing life challenges are highly effective. Therefore, mathematics education at these stages of schooling helps students to look more confidently at the complex world around them and deal with life challenges more effectively.
In grades 10 through 12, the mathematics curriculum covers a wide range of topics to help students grasp basic mathematical skills and concepts. These topics include:
- Algebra: covering concepts such as equations and inequalities, prime factors, and algebraic problem-solving.
- Geometry: including Euclidean geometry, analytical geometry, and solid geometry.
- Analytical Geometry: covering concepts like Cartesian coordinates, equations of lines, and geometric shapes.
- Probability and Statistics: including probability concepts, probability distributions, and statistical concepts such as mean and variance.
- Calculus: covering concepts such as functions, derivatives, integration, and problems related to various applications of calculus.
Assessment in mathematics at Anar Online Academy is conducted in various forms. These assessments may include online assignments, online exams, computational projects, and sometimes even live discussions using video conferencing tools. Online assessments will use a variety of methods to allow students to practice different skills in mathematics and improve their abilities. Additionally, assessment programs will be fair and equitable, allowing students at Anar Online Academy to properly grasp concepts and demonstrate their skills.
